Meet Our Artists TIMOTHY POTTER
Timothy Potter started TopLine SMP along side his friend and business partner Alex Cruz in 2016. Once entering this field he worked hard to become one of the best practioners in the country. Being certified by the AAM (American Academy of Micropigmentation) and learning the art of scalp micropigmentation from Matt Ioulo of Scalp Micro USA. Tim went on to hone his skills by taking two additional advanced courses with Joe Taylor and Aris Azar to perfect scar camouflage and advanced blending techniques.
Over the years Topline SMP has grown into New Jerseys most sought after SMP company with Tim and Alex doing over 1,500 procedures since starting the company. His passion can be seen in every client he has worked on. Being a life long south jersey resident one of his proudest moments in business was doing a scalp for a member his favorite sports team the Philadelphia Eagles.

ALEX CRUZ
Alex Cruz made his way into SMP in 2016 along side long time friend and now business brother Tim Potter. This birthed New Jersey’s first certified SMP Clinic, Topline SMP. But before that came the education and nothing was spared.. Certified by the AAM (American Academy of Micropigmentation), learning the art of scalp micropigmentation from Matt Ioulo of Scalp Micro USA. Then to really polish his skills not 1 but 2 additional advanced courses with Joe Taylor and Aris Azar were taken to perfect scar camouflage and advance blending techniques.
After 5 years in the field and over 2,000 procedures under his belt Alex is now a world class practitioner in the art of SMP referred to by many as the silent killer. Alex is most known for being able to combine a clients vision, their style, and facial attributes to create some of the most natural hairlines spanning from a precise shape up to a perfectly imperfect soft line. Alex has quickly climbed the ranks in the industry and is respected by elite artist all over the world…
